Liliana is a lifelong resident of Harford County and a K-12 graduate of Harford County Public Schools. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated early with a degree in Government & Politics and a minor in Rhetoric. While obtaining her degree, Liliana worked in both chambers of the United States Congress.
As an HCPS student, Liliana was deeply involved with the school community. She was the President of the Student Government Association, managed several varsity sports, and played in the orchestra. Her recent experience as a student of HCPS provides her with a firsthand understanding of where the system falls short and of what it can achieve.
Liliana has had a passion for public service for as long as she can remember. Her desire to serve is rooted in her love for Harford County, the place she grew up and will soon raise her family.
Liliana lives in the Town of Bel Air, enjoys volunteering in the community, and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Harford County Commission for Women.
Liliana is running for the Board of Education to restore budget and curriculum accountability while strengthening the resources for students to be better prepared for life after graduation.
